I used to love sitting on my grandfather's porch in Hiawassee, Georgia. It was a big screened-in porch on the cool side of the house and had bunk beds for us kids. We loved sleeping in those bunk beds out on that porch, letting the crickets chirp us to sleep and the birds sing us awake. Imagine yourself without a care in the world, wrapped up in a blanket softened through a thousand washings, sitting in one of those big rocking chairs on that porch one morning, nothing to do but watch the world wake up.
